37% say Biden is respected by world leaders: Gallup

A Gallup poll released Monday found that just over a third of Americans, 37 percent, say President Biden is respected by world leaders.

Fifty-eight percent said he was not respected, and 5% said they had no opinion.

By party affiliation, 74% of Democrats say Biden is respected, as do 3% of Republicans and 34% of independents.

Trump, on the other hand, had the opposite numbers as president. On average, 71% of Republicans are satisfied with America’s place in the world, compared to just 18% of Democrats and independents. On average, 65% of Republicans say Trump is respected by world leaders, compared to just 5% of Democrats and 25% of independents.

The new survey was conducted via telephone interviews with 1,016 U.S. adults and had a margin of error of 4 percentage points.
