My mother is the biggest inspiration in my life. She is a nurse, a housewife, and a great cook. In her late 30s her father died and she was raising four children in Kenya as a single mother. Her stress eventually led to her being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.
Then my sister, who has a PhD and is also a nurse, was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS). She has two strong women in my family who struggle with illness, so she came up with the idea of using natural spices in her cooking rather than adding supplements.

I started my business in 2013 to create healthy spices that tell a story of the fusion of tradition, innovation and health. I wanted to show you how you can incorporate food into your daily life as medicine and easily create delicious meals for your family in a short amount of time.
