2024 Tokyo New Year Meet
The second and final day of the 2024 Tokyo New Year Tournament was held tonight, with a 21-year-old player taking part. Shiho Matsumoto I performed shows at two private events.

Matsumoto’s next victim was the 100m fly, where the World University Games multiple medalist won gold with a time of 56.21 seconds.
Matsumoto recorded the fastest performance of his career with an opening time of 26.56 seconds and a closing time of 29.65 seconds. The up-and-coming star athlete who participated in this tournament’s previous personal best was 59.74 seconds, which he recorded at the 2018 Spring JOC Tournament.
Thanks to Matsumoto’s efforts, she ranks third in Japanese history and sixth among Asian female athletes in the 100-meter fly.

Matsumoto is a triple bronze medalist at the 2023 World University Games, and contributed to the women’s 4x100m freestyle, 4x200m freestyle, and 4x100m medley relay podiums in Chengdu, China. .
