ONE lights up Disney California Adventure Park again – NBC Los Angeles

The days are short in January, that’s absolutely true, and after the first week, all the bright Christmas lights go out.

In other words, we’re looking for a spark in a new place, a bright light at night to help us weather the winter doldrums.

But here’s some news that makes us shine. In the middle of January, a source of joyful sparkle and hope is returning. All to help us find some light, literally and in the most uplifting and positive sense.

World of Color — ONE at Disney California Adventure Park is an after-dark extravaganza. And this spectacular view is: Playful projections undulate the giant water walls, while special effects, music, and a touch of Disney magic add to the enchanting atmosphere.

Fog is the foggy star of the limited-time show, and the flames always provoke excited reactions and deliver razzmatazz, but what’s at the heart of it? “World of Color: One” places great emphasis on its poignant message and well-told story, one filled with “wavemakers” from the Disney canon.

The returning favorite “…tells the powerful story of how a single action, like a drop of water, creates ripples that grow into waves of change.”

Once you’ve enjoyed the nightly extravaganza from January 23rd to February 18th, there’s another treat in store. Ahead of “World of Color: ONE,” is the crowd-pleasing “Hurry Home — Lunar New Year Celebration.”
