Travix has appointed Mira van Hauwelingen as Chief Marketing Officer, poised to strengthen its global marketing efforts with her extensive experience working with major brands.
Travix, the prominent digital travel booking platform, has announced the selection of Mira van Hauvelingen as Chief Marketing Officer. In this position, Mila will spearhead Travix’s global marketing strategy.
Mila’s previous job was as Head of Marketing at Getir, a prominent grocery delivery company in the Netherlands. There she was instrumental in establishing and promoting the company’s brand within the Dutch market. Her career has included senior roles such as head of marketing and digital at Hennessy, as well as various marketing positions at Rituals and Unilever.
Commenting on her appointment, Mira expressed her enthusiasm, pointing to her extensive experience with leading brands and her willingness to take on new challenges in her role at Travix. She stressed that she is confident in leading the company’s marketing efforts both in the Benelux region and on a global scale to increase the Travix brand’s presence.
CT Oi, CEO of Travix, expressed his excitement about Mila’s arrival, especially at a critical stage in the company’s development. He emphasized the importance of Travix being integrated into the Trip.com group in 2020, solidifying its position in the international travel field. Mr. Oi believes Mira’s experience, innovative approach and fresh insights will be key to leading Travix to even greater achievements.
Based in Amsterdam, Travix is a prominent online travel agency with a strong presence in Europe. The company recently revamped its CheapTickets brand identity with a focus on reliability, ease of use, and excellent customer service. The rebranding features the debut of a new charming bird mascot named Tjiep in the Benelux market.
