“Jamaican women are expected to do everything themselves. We are expected to be good mothers, work, take care of our families, and spend enough time with our families. There are expectations. After determining the recipient, WCJF, Mr. Hendrickson contacted Mr. Patterson to request a quote for the opportunity. Upon hearing the reason for this, the actress and MUA supported Mirror Mirror’s participation by donating their services for free and gifting them attractive kits.
With these plans in place, the NCB Foundation was able to donate $180,000 to WCJF.
