The Nashville Entrepreneurial Center this week announced the selection of 37 companies or founders to be included in two new accelerator cohorts.
The 2024 Project Healthcare Group includes 17 companies and has total lifetime equity funding of $38.5 million, a “significant advance” compared to past groups, according to the release. The program is in its seventh year and is led by Chairman Eric Thlaykill.
“Nashville is known as the most innovative healthcare community in America,” Entrepreneur Center CEO Sam Davidson said in a release. “We are proud to be contributing to the prosperity of an industry-leading healthcare and health technology company that has evolved over the past 50 years. The Entrepreneur Center also announced 20 “Founders to Watch” as part of the five-month InFlight accelerator, led by Entrepreneurs-in-Residence Beth Chase and Katherine McElroy.
