VoC specialist First Insight acquires digital marketing company

In the US, First Insight, Inc., a retail voice of the customer solutions provider, acquired SnapRetail, a digital marketing platform that helps retailers and brands increase in-store traffic and online sales, for an undisclosed amount. ). Both companies are based in Pittsburgh.
First Insight’s platform helps clients collect consumer data feedback to optimize strategy, product, pricing, planning and marketing decisions. Last week, the company released an app called My INSIGHT, promising retailers, designers and planners better understanding of consumers for purposes such as assortment building and streamlining. The company said the acquisition of SnapRetail strengthens its marketing automation capabilities and is the first in a series of acquisitions and internal development plans aimed at expanding its platform.
