Sen. Bernie Sanders wants President Joe Biden to be more vocal in support of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip or risk his re-election.
“The president has to change course. The president has been very clear. He has expressed concern about ‘indiscriminate bombing,'” Sanders told CNN on Sunday.
However, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did not change his mind. On the 100th day of fighting in Gaza, Prime Minister Netanyahu issued a defiant statement: “No one will stop us, not the Hague, not the Axis of Evil, not anyone else.”
“This is unacceptable,” Sanders said on CNN.

In a recent interview with the Guardian, Mr Sanders described the Gaza conflict as a “mass atrocity”.
“If anyone is suffering, it’s the Jews. We shouldn’t inflict that kind of suffering on Palestinian children,” Sanders told the outlet. “Killing children is not the solution.”
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, Israeli retaliation has left around 24,000 Palestinians dead, including around 10,000 children. An additional 60,000 Palestinians are reported to have been injured, thousands of homes destroyed, and more than 2 million people displaced.
“We cannot donate billions of dollars to a country that ignores our requests and violates international law,” Sanders told CNN. “I hope the president sticks to his concerns and says to Prime Minister Netanyahu, ‘This is unacceptable. We’re not going to get a penny from the United States unless we fundamentally change course. We’re not going to have hundreds of them.'” Thousands of children are starving to death. ”
