Victor Wembaneyama is one of the best prospects the NBA has seen in years, and the San Antonio Spurs were lucky enough to win the lottery to draft him last summer.
The Spurs’ roster as a whole needs work, but they must develop future superstars around Wembaneyama. The 20-year-old is already showing flashes of what he can become, combining his unique length and athleticism with skills not normally found in big-name players.
One person who’s already impressed with what he’s seen from Wenbanyama is former Los Angeles Lakers great Metta World Peace. In a recent show, “Run it Back” on FanDuel TVWorld Peace boldly declared that Wembaneyama would eventually break Wilt Chamberlain’s single-game scoring record:
