Brad Sousa passed away on November 8, 2023 in Austin, Texas at the age of 62. Mr. Brad is the Chief Technology Officer of AVI Systems and served as a member of the AVIXA Board of Directors. AVIXA’s global membership recently elected him to the position of Treasurer, with an advantage towards Chairman of the Board. In addition, Brad also served on the board of the AVIXA Foundation.
At home and at work, Brad lived his life with a love of action and truth, not just words and speeches. He was known for the saying, “Influence is a shocking sham.” He was committed to making a difference in all his pursuits, whether personal or professional. AVIXA says it is with this lesson of his in mind that the foundation established the Brad Sousa Impact Fund.
