Delivery partners ensure that demand is not met.
“When we entered the Indian logistics market, we realized several challenges, including lack of quick access to delivery partners, very limited technology adoption, and last-mile delivery issues. Initially focused on improving last mile delivery efficiency and pioneering radius-free delivery, we are proud to be the only company to enable premium 5-star delivery services. , has facilitated over 1 billion deliveries by partnering with over 5,000 businesses and building a network of nearly 500,000 users. For example, we helped Pro ecom Logistics, a one-man delivery startup, scale up 10x within six months through our technology. , based in Delhi Riding Rangers, a hyper-local delivery company, saw a 15% increase in business within two months. We have a hybrid interoperable fleet of over 50,000 internal fleet members and 30+ third-party delivery partners. We have established a delivery network and are serving over 200 cities,” said Ratnesh Verma, Founder and CEO of Pidge.
But what are the biggest challenges in business, other than operational issues, and how can you overcome them?
According to Verma, existing supply and delivery solutions in the market were highly polarized. The entire logistics ecosystem is siled with multiple layers and intermediaries that force companies to make certain decisions or limit their options. For example, if a company partners with Platform A, it cannot seamlessly work with Platform B in an interoperable manner. The lack of acceptance of hybrid working styles was a major challenge for them.
To address this issue, they took the initiative to test and validate their solution. “We have created a hybrid network that incorporates a variety of delivery options such as passengers, unorganized partners, and 3PL networks. This demonstrates the benefits of this approach and frees businesses to have hybrid delivery options. The success of this initiative is evidenced by the impressive milestone of over 6 million deliveries and the achievement of positive gross margins,” Verma said.
