With just two days left until the January 22 ‘Pran Pratishta’ ceremony, a bookstore has offered the world’s most expensive and unique copy of the Ramayana at the holy Ram temple in Ayodhya.the price is INRThe $165,000,000 Ramayana special edition has also been described as “the most beautiful”.
In a video posted by news agency ANI, bookseller Manoj Sati is seen explaining the details of Valmiki’s holy book ‘Ramayana’, which depicts the life of Lord Ram. According to him, the book features his three boxes designed to resemble the Ram temple, reflecting his three floors of the temple.
The paper used in this book is made in France and is a patented acid-free paper. The cover of the book is made of imported materials, and the ink is also imported from Japan. Meanwhile, the woods used in the design are American walnut and saffron.
Sati said the book weighs 45 kilograms and can be stored for more than 400 years. “This book will be passed down through four generations,” he said.
“We have arrived in the tent city of Ayodhya with a beautiful Ramayana. It has so many features and is the most expensive Ramayana in the world. We can say that the most beautiful Ramayana is in Ayodhya,” a bookstore quoted by ANI said. I quoted the words of a member.
He further added, “The motive behind the beautiful and attractive design is that you can see a different design on each page.”
Consecration ceremony of Ram temple
The much-awaited consecration ceremony of the Ram temple is scheduled to take place on January 22, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the chief guest. Thousands of people are invited to this grand event, including saints, politicians, and celebrities.
The Ram Janmabhoomi Trust said a team of priests led by Laxmikant Dixit will lead the main rituals on Monday.
Meanwhile, the seven-day Vedic rituals leading to the main consecration ceremony began in Ayodhya on Tuesday. On Saturday, the fifth day of the ceremony, the sanctum sanctorum where Lord Ram’s idol is kept is purified with the holy water of Saryu. This is followed by the rituals of ‘Vaastu Shanti’ and ‘Annadiva’. Early on Friday morning, as part of ‘Aranimanta’, a holy fire was lit by rubbing two wooden planks with a cloth to start the ‘Yagya’. This fire remains ‘akhand’ (continuous) until the dedication ceremony.
The temple will be open to the public from January 23rd.
