Stanley Cup craze has reached new heights after a California woman was arrested and charged with grand theft after allegedly stealing more than 50 Stanley Cup tumblers.
Police reported that a 23-year-old woman came out of a store in Roseville, Calif., with a shopping cart filled with trendy water bottles and refused to pay, despite attempts by store staff to stop her. I reported it. On the way out the door.
The suspect, identified as Delaney Garcia-Lopez, then allegedly drove off with an estimated $2,500 worth of merchandise before police pursued and stopped her vehicle.
“Stanley Quencher is all the rage and we urge you not to turn to crime to satisfy your hydration habits,” Roseville Police said on Facebook. “The Roseville Police Department remains committed to deterring retail theft.”

Water bottles have been all the rage lately, thanks to social media hype and limited releases, leading to full-scale brawls at Target.
In November 2023, a woman recorded the aftermath of a car tire and it went viral on TikTok. Although the interior was destroyed, the cup holder Stanley remained unharmed and the ice inside did not melt.
