You will be assigned to write a content marketing article for a client. The writer needs to be able to write about a wide range of topics from healthcare to coffee shops in a way that matches the customer’s brand identity, follows SEO best practices, and captures the reader’s interest.
You need to be able to meet deadlines, deal with customers professionally, and get the facts straight.
Our freelance writers also have the opportunity to pitch journalism topics for writing articles.

Job requirements:
- Interested in sharing positive stories about Grays Harbor County
- Ability to professionally interview and interact with local business owners and other community members.
- Flexibility to conduct interviews during normal business hours, often in person
- Skills in taking high-quality photos during interviews and submitting them with a story
- Fluent use of technology – email, word processing, photo editing, internet
- SEO knowledge or willingness/ability to learn quickly
- Knowledge of AP style or willingness/ability to learn quickly.
Proven experience in producing error-free articles within deadlines is a big plus.
