OMB guidance expands small businesses’ access to high-value, high-use contracts.
President Biden’s administration this week released guidance on expanding access to federal contracts for small businesses. Federal agencies managed by the Office of Management and Budget will adopt strategies to increase small business participation in multiple contracts.
The White House also said, “The Small Business Administration (SBA) is announcing significant improvements to the popular 7(j) technical assistance program, now called Empower to Grow (E2G). , says: [socially and economically disadvantaged individuals] Located in areas with high unemployment rates and low incomes. The revamped E2G program will provide one-on-one training tailored to the needs of small businesses, pursue government contracts, and host networking and matching events between government agencies and prime contractors.
