World premiere of Ife Olujobi scheduled for public theater jordan ‘ has revealed its full cast and is scheduled to begin performances on April 11th at the Off-Broadway Company’s Lewester Hall. The opening night is April 24th, and performances are scheduled to continue until May 5th. Whitney White will be at the helm.
The film takes place in a predominantly white workplace where new employees are hired to improve the company’s image and so-called “culture.” Olujobi, who is making his off-Broadway debut with this production, began developing the play as part of the Public’s 2018-2019 Emerging Writers Group.
The cast includes Bronte England-Nelson as Emma, Naomi Lorraine as Jordan, Brian Muller as Fletcher, Toby Onwumare as Jordan, Matthew Russell as Fletcher, Ryan Spahn as Ryan, The cast includes Meg Steedle as Maggie and Kate Walsh as Hayley. Rounding out the company are juniors Quinn M. Johnson, Devin Kessler and Kai Sikosi, with additional juniors to be announced.
The production includes set design by Matt Saunders, costume design by Queen Jean, lighting design by Cha Xi, sound design by Fan Zhang, hair and wig design by Nikiya Mathis, and special effects design by Lilith Mee. , also features prop management by Claire M. Kavanah, intimate production by Kelsey Rainwater, and combat production by Uncle Dave’s Fight House. Nicci Aya will serve as dramaturg, Rachel Denise April will serve as production stage manager, and Eloia Peterson will serve as stage manager.
