The City of Safford is seeking input from local business owners and managers.
The City of Safford, Graham County Chamber of Commerce, Eastern Arizona University Small Business Development Center, and Safford Downtown Association will host a “Spotlight on Business” breakfast event on Monday, April 1st.
Safford Mayor Richard Ortega and City Manager John Cassella will welcome you and provide an update on city resources and regulations for businesses in the city. Business owners and managers can also hear about Safford’s business licensing requirements and the latest information on his IRS reporting.
To conclude, City Manager Cassella and other city staff will conduct a listening session where business owners and managers will speak directly with city staff about what is working well and what the city can do to better support them. I’ll give you a chance. Small businesses thrive in Safford.
The Business Spotlight at the Manor 415 Convention Center begins with a continental breakfast and networking at 7 a.m., before transitioning to a 90-minute program at 7:30 a.m.
