Top bets on 2024 MLB futures
Some of Cimini’s main advice for his 2024 MLB future: He says to stay away from the Atlanta Braves (+450) when betting on the World Series. Atlanta won 104 games last season, the most in the major leagues, and won the National League East for the sixth consecutive year. However, since winning the World Series in 2021, the Braves have failed to advance past the NLDS in the postseason, losing to the Phillies in four games in both 2022 and 2023.
Despite leading MLB in multiple offensive categories during the regular season, Atlanta was held to two runs or less in all three games they lost to Philadelphia in last year’s NLDS. It will be even more difficult for the Braves to reach the World Series this year, as the Dodgers acquired star players Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto in the offseason and established themselves as a championship favorite.
