Founded in 2011 by Jackson Township resident Eric Brown, the company provides accident investigation services primarily to civil and criminal defense attorneys and insurance companies. “Being on the reserve and volunteering your time to go out to accident scenes and train police officers and everything, I feel like it’s kind of giving back,” Brown said.
He only employs law enforcement officers and is in the process of hiring others as part of his expansion. When additional expertise is needed, we may also turn to partners in the biomechanics, tire, and medical industries.

Kenan Advantage Group acquires Michigan trucking company

Society Brands, a Canton-based e-commerce brand acquisition and support company, has acquired two Orange County, Calif.-based brands: Clarifion and Cleanomic.
Clarifion manufactures compact air purification and air ionization devices. Cleanomic provides alternatives to single-use plastic products and household products.
The acquisition brings Society Brand’s portfolio of brands to 11 with total annual revenue of $100 million. Details of the transaction were not disclosed.
