VERO BEACH, Fla., March 18, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — ARMOR Residential REIT, Inc. (NYSE: ARR and ARR PRC) (“ARMOR” or the “Company”) announced today that Sergey Rosiev and Desmond announced the promotion of Mr. McCauley. He will be appointed Co-Chief Investment Officer (CIO) from March 18, 2024. Mr. McCauley will also serve as Head of Risk Management for his ARMOR. Rosiev and McCauley will replace Mark Gruber, who has resigned.
Mr. Rosiev joined ARMOR in 2016 and has served as Deputy Chief Investment Officer since January 2020. Prior to joining ARMOUR, he was an Agency MBS Portfolio Analyst at Deutsche Asset Management, where he co-managed over $25 billion in Agency MBS assets from 2009 to 2009. 2016. Earlier in his career, Mr. Rosiev was a financial programmer at Zebra Capital Management LLC. He received his MBA from Cornell University’s Johnson School of Management, his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Connecticut, and is also CFA certified.
Mr. McCauley has served as ARMOR’s Director of Investment Strategy since May 2013. He has 25 years of experience in the mortgage-backed securities market and is listed as a top analyst for MBS Securities in the US Institutional Investor Survey. Prior to joining ARMOUR, he was a Managing Director of the MBS Strategy Group at RBS Greenwich Capital, and a Vice President of the MBS Research Group at Merrill Lynch. He received his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Georgia Tech, and a bachelor of science degree with honors in electrical engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He is a CFA charter holder.
Separately, ARMOR Capital Management LP, ARMOR’s independent manager, announced that Shane Lund has been promoted to senior portfolio manager and head of trading, and Michael Schweizer has been promoted to portfolio manager.
