Indians love dosa so much that its popularity extends beyond the southern regions and has become a household food for everyone. We also see people experimenting with typical dosa recipes to add a unique touch to their dishes every time. But it looks like a team of chefs has taken their love for dosas to the next level and set a world record. Let’s find out. To celebrate its 100th anniversary, MTR Foods collaborated with Roman Kitchen Equipment to prepare a 123-foot-long dosa, earning it the title of world’s longest dosa according to Guinness World Records.

A team of 75 chefs led by Chef Regi Matthews prepared this record-breaking dosa at MTR’s Bomasandra factory after months of planning and hard work. The team reportedly used the same brand’s red rice dosa batter.
Chef Regi Matthews announced the news on Instagram, writing, “Excited to announce a historic milestone at MTR! Guinness World Record title for longest dosa at an incredible length of 123.03 feet. We proudly celebrate our 100th anniversary!”
Rejishev further said that this achievement took place on March 15, 2024 at the MTR Factory in Bangalore and thanked everyone who worked towards the success.

Previously, MTR set a world record by making a 16.68 meter (54 feet 8.69 inches) dosa.
