The world created by LOEWE at the Shanghai Exhibition Center
fashion brand Loewe launches its first major brand show “Crafted World” was held at the Shanghai Exhibition Center. This vibrant retrospective spotlights Loewe’s rich Spanish heritage and commitment to the handmade through an interactive journey across time, space, materials and craft, filled with art and culture.The fashion house’s creative director Jonathan Anderson curated the show, and the architecture group Omathe studio behind some of the most ground-breaking museums of the 21st century, led the set design for Crafted World.

Jonathan Anderson and OMA create an interactive journey
Jonathan Anderson (more here) has organized a retrospective of Crafted World around six thematic chapters that illustrate the brand’s singular sense of play: Born from the Hand, Welcome to Spain, The Atelier, Fashion Without Limits, and United in Craft. , Unexpected Dialogue. Spatially designed by the OMA team, each of these themes showcases LOEWE (see details here) A progressive approach to fashion and craft culture through multi-sensory storytelling including touch, sound and augmented reality.

Highlights of the Crafted World exhibition include iconic Loewe dresses from the previous Spring/Summer collection, OMA maquettes, and a selection of handbags and chairs, each of which showcase the fashion house’s commitment to woven, handcrafted and handcrafted designs. It embodies a complex commitment. The retrospective will open to the public at the Shanghai Exhibition Center on March 22, 2024, and will run until May 5, 2024.
