Great River Rescue recently received $2,500 as part of the 2024 Modern Woodmen of America “Go Wild for Animal Shelters” matching funds.
The shelter launched an online campaign to raise funds, and 27 donations ranging from $5 to $800 were made until enough was raised to access matching funds, according to a release.
This funding will help with this year’s expenses
pet repair businesses, low-cost spay/neuter clinics;
They rely on affiliated veterinarians and veterinarians who travel from all over Minnesota to provide their services at discounted rates.
Modern Woodman representatives toured the shelter, saw the pet repair clinic trailer and hugged many puppies, according to the release.
Modern Woodmen of America is a member-owned fraternal financial services organization.
