Cambridge, Massachusetts – Harvard Athletics has announced Joe Bradley as the new assistant director of marketing and fan engagement. Bradley arrives at Cambridge after a long spell with Worcester Woosox.
A graduate of Union College, Mr. Bradley will lead and oversee the development of Harvard University’s marketing and fan experience strategies across all 42 national teams, working with staff to develop Crimson tickets, sponsorships, merchandise and benefits. This will further strengthen sales efforts.
During his eight-year tenure with the WooSox, Bradley assumed five different roles within the MiLB organization, previously serving as Vice President of Community and Player Relations. During his long tenure in Worcester, Bradley served as a member of the executive team overseeing the opening of Polar Park in 2021. During the franchise relocation process, Bradley served as a key liaison between the club and government officials.
Alongside his relocation duties, Bradley also directed the club’s community outreach efforts. Under his leadership, the Worcester Woosox earned the 2021 Community Champion Award at the Baseball Winter Meetings. In addition to the coveted Community Champion award, Bradley developed relationships with corporate partners and made key connections that helped the Woosox lead all Minor League Baseball franchises in annual sponsorship revenue.
Prior to his time with the Worcester Woosox, Bradley began his career in sports as a Community Relations Assistant with the Boston Red Sox. Bradley assisted with game day operations and wrote content for Red Sox Magazine. Bradley also facilitated the charitable distribution of Red Sox tickets to several organizations in the New England area.
Outside of his work in the sports field, Bradley works in Worcester and serves as an extensive member of the Worcester Public Library Foundation, and serves as an advisor to the Cambridge Community Foundation. Bradley graduated from Union University in 2014 with degrees in political science and English, and Garnett played on the Chargers baseball team where he was a starter for four years.
