Applications for the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture’s 2024 Oklahoma Grassroots Rural and Agricultural Business Accelerator Program are open to Oklahoma rural and agricultural innovators looking to grow their businesses and deepen their understanding of business, starting in March. Applications are accepted until the 1st.
The Activate Oklahoma Rural Innovation Pipeline provides resources and support to innovative rural Oklahoma companies with innovations and products that create economic opportunities for rural Oklahoma.
The newly revamped AgCelerate Oklahoma Agriculture Innovation Pipeline targets innovators with innovations and technologies with on-farm or production agriculture applications that help diversify opportunities for farmers. The AgCelerate pipeline prepares innovators to apply to her national AgLaunch365 agricultural business accelerator or participate in Activate Oklahoma.
Each innovation pipeline will provide innovators with multiple training sessions starting in April and May and continuing through September. Training includes a Pipeline-specific bootcamp that connects entrepreneurs with Oklahoma-focused business resources and curriculum to grow and scale their businesses. Additional training follows the initial bootcamp to provide innovators with a comprehensive experience.
Alumni of both Activate Oklahoma and AgCelerate Oklahoma have the opportunity to pitch their ideas for an opportunity to receive equity investment from the program’s partner organizations. Both pipelines provide innovators with additional funding opportunities, including grants, loans, and creative funding mechanisms.
Both the Activate and AgCelerate pipeline applications are available at okfarmbureau.org/AcceleratorApp.
There is no cost to participate in either innovation pipeline. Successful candidates will be required to attend all training sessions offered.
Successful applicants must have significant business operations in Oklahoma and reside in a community with a population of 50,000 or fewer.
