Here are 6 of the 100 most legendary Indian restaurants in the world.
#5 Paragon, Calicut
The top Indian restaurant ranked #5 in the world is Paragon Restaurant in Kerala. The restaurant is legendary for its biryani, with Taste Atlas saying it serves “the world’s most iconic biryani.” This place is also famous for Malabar Chicken Biryani and Paneer Tikka.
#6 Tuesday Kababi, Lucknow
The second Indian restaurant on the list after Paragon is Tunday Kababi in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. This restaurant is ranked 6th on the list of the 100 most legendary restaurants in the world. Thandei Kababi is famous for its galouti kebabs made from finely ground keema (minced lamb or mutton). Galouti Kebab is flavorful, tender and melts in your mouth.

#10 Peter Cat, Kolkata
At number 10 is another legendary kebab restaurant, Peter Cat in Kolkata, West Bengal. This place is famous for its Cherou Kebab, a twist on the Iranian beef kebab dish, replacing beef with mutton and chicken.
#16 Amrik Sukhdev Dhaba, Mursal
After enjoying Indian biryani and kebabs, it’s time for Punjabi aloo paratha. At number 16 stands Amrik Sukhdev Daba from Murthal, Haryana, who is legendary for his aloo parathas. He is also known for serving delicious chole bhature.
#32 Mavari Tiffin Rooms (Bangalore)
Calling all Idli lovers, Mavalli Tiffin Rooms, also known as MTR, is another legendary Indian restaurant located in Bangalore, Karnataka. This place is best known for its delicious rava idli and bisi bele bath, a rice masala dish.

#84 Karims, Delhi
Last but not least, we would like to introduce Karim from the capital. Located at number 84, this place is famous for its mutton korma, a delicious dish of mutton slow-cooked with yogurt, spices, and ghee.
