The first of a long-awaited series of court documents related to the Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking case will be released later tonight, with references to high-profile figures including former President Bill Clinton, former President Donald Trump, and Prince Andrew. has become clear.
Although their names were mentioned, no allegations of criminal activity were made against them.
What has been revealed in previous documents
Mr. Clinton’s name frequently came up in debates over the credibility of witnesses who reported seeing the former president at Mr. Epstein’s compound. Prince Andrew’s name is mentioned in an email by convicted sex offender and Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell, apparently referring to both him and Clinton.
She wrote a letter to her lawyer asking what she could say about her relationship with two prominent figures.
“I have already experienced such a terrible and painful loss over the past few days that I have no idea what kind of life he will lead after the news. Statements that do not resolve everything only invite further questions. It’s just…what the heck is that?” What about his relationship with Clinton? The thing about Andrew goes on and on. Let’s take a break until Monday. You need head space. ”
Ghislaine asks them to contact Epstein’s lawyer. “Why not see what we can understand from him and collaborate with him to create something?”
The deposition also details how the alleged victim, Johanna Shoberg, was asked if she knew Bill Clinton was a friend of Epstein.
“I knew he had business with Bill Clinton,” she said. “I didn’t know they were friends until I read the 15th Vanity Fair article about them going to Africa together.”
Asked if Mr. Epstein ever mentioned Mr. Clinton, Mr. Sjöberg said, “Mr. Epstein at one point said, referring to girls, that Mr. Clinton liked young people.” Ta.
Donald Trump’s name appeared on an account in which Epstein boasted of his ability to call the former president.
Shoberg said he was once told by the pilot of a private plane to tell Epstein that he needed to land in Atlantic City instead of New York.
“Jeffrey said, ‘Okay, I’m going to call Trump and go to the casino, although I can’t remember the name of it,'” she said.
Despite these references, Mr. Clinton, Mr. Trump, and Mr. Andrew have not been accused of direct involvement in Mr. Epstein’s illegal activities.

Why is the document being released now?
Court papers were filed in Manhattan federal court in which Epstein’s victim Virginia Giuffre sued Maxwell.
In December, New York District Judge Loretta Preska ruled that the documents could no longer be kept secret and that the court would begin making them public.
The controversy surrounding Epstein intensified following his 2019 prison suicide, leaving many questions unanswered. His partner, Ghislaine Maxwell, was convicted of aiding and abetting Epstein’s crimes and is currently serving a 20-year sentence.
As these documents come to light, there is hope among legal experts and the public that they will contribute to the broader fight against sex trafficking while also helping victims of these heinous crimes. The goal is to put some sort of end to it.
