FOREST HILL, Md. — When a brick-and-mortar storefront doesn’t fit into your business plan, the next best approach for entrepreneurs is to take the plunge and meet customers on the spot.
Lana Amoroso of Forest Hill travels to numerous events throughout Harford County, including church bazaars, festivals and fairs, to share with current and potential customers the products she can offer as a longtime Avon representative. I’m sharing it.

“The people here in Harford County are wonderful and very nice. I started selling Avon in 1985 and the people have supported me over the years and I am very grateful for that. “I love all of them and I’ve become close to many of them.” “My friends. I’m so happy to have them all in my life,” Amoroso told Patch.
Her line of work sells cosmetics, jewelry, clothing, vitamins, shoes, skin care products, colognes, and perfumes, to name a few.
“I work primarily with women, but I also have men. They’re here in Maryland and spread across the country to California,” Amoroso told Patch.
