All Elite Wrestling returns to pay-per-view tonight (Saturday, December 30, 2023) with new matches The end of the world PPV. The latest edition of the AEW calendar will arrive at 8pm ET from the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York.

I can’t forget his face, what a lonely place, did he really let us go? The time lost, the ultimate price, and can you really escape? Hey guys, it seems like just a crazy dream in my life to be here live blogging this pro wrestling show.
Chris Statlander vs. Willow Nightingale
Back and forth early, Statlender blocks a doctor bomb, back elbow, and standing summersault senton, just two! Scoop and slam, Chris grabs body scissors and tries to crush her! Whiplash, cartwheel denied, Nightingale enzuigiri, hip check to lariat, Stat dodges the boot and hits a back suplex for two!
Club blows to the back, shoulder blocks exchanged, both women down and out! Kick to Willow, big spinebuster, folding press…no! In the center of the ring, they exchange suplexes in the cradle for two! Statrender with an elbow, a running boot in the corner, a sit-down gourd buster… still no good!
Fireman’s carry, float out, electric chair, facebuster! Chris comes off the ropes and Willow crosses her and her strap falls off! Cannonball Sentone in the corner, Death Valley Driver…Chris Stat kicks out! Statlender throws a few kicks, but he can’t stop Nightingale!
Apron powerbomb for a dropkick, but Chris still kicks out! Stats does Saturday Night Fever and reverses, Willow hits a roundhouse kick, enzuigiri with a rolling elbow, and a disc lariat! Willow takes her down with a lariat, her statrender gets out of a doctor bomb, can’t get her up on the second try, counters on the third…not enough!

AEW TNT Championship #1 Contenders Battle Royal
Everyone unites to bury Killswitch and Lance Archer outside the gate to keep them out of the match. Serpentico is eliminated, the usual frenzied brawl begins, and then Dalton Castle is eliminated. Johnny TV initially avoided elimination, but Danhausen defeated him! Lee Johnson is in great shape, but he hangs on until Kip Sabian corners him and eliminates him!
John Silver and Alex Reynolds investigated Angelo Parker and eliminated him! Bieber hits the Butcher and the Blade, then Reynolds hits a suplex from the top and is eliminated by Kip Sabian! Silver suplexes both Sabian and Blade, hits a boot to the back of the head, and Butcher comes in and eliminates him!
Kip is sent to the apron and eliminated by Brian Keith! Danhausen blasts him with a boot and the bounty hunter roars to his feet, refusing to be cursed! Elbow from Blade, headbutt from Bryan, tries to eliminate but Butcher comes to block! Keith follows up with a vicious site suplex and a running knee on the big man!
Butcher reverses with an underhook and dumps Keith into the turnbuckle, Blade eliminates Keith with a boot! Lance Archer, who is still legal, stands up and enters the ring! Attacking everyone, Daddy Magic tries to tackle Menard with a stomp on his foot and a chop, but gets run over and eliminated!
Archer’s reign of terror continues as Christopher Daniels is eliminated with a stand-up knee and Action Andretti tackles him and hydrates him in the face! He and Darius Martin work together to keep the big man off balance. Double chokeslam, Killswitch gets in the ring this time and the big man faces off and throws Andretti and Martin out together! Blade is eliminated and Butcher follows shortly after!
Lance nails Killswitch with a boot. It’s up to two big men, Danhausen and Trent Beretta! Danhausen attempts a German suplex on Archer but misses, Trent rescues him with a superkick and they both do a Murderhawk. Eliminate monsters! Snap Zoom The best friends hug, then Trent eliminates Danhausen!
Beretta turns into a kill switch, gets blasted with a boot, low bridge, big guy hanging there, Trent gets dragged to the apron and runs over, bodies, knees up, jockeying for position…
Killswitch won, defeating Trent Beretta for the final time and becoming the number one contender for the AEW TNT Championship.
Wheeler YUTA appears and takes the microphone.
He said HOOK was sticking his nose where it didn’t belong, but look where this son of a bitch is coming from! Is there one saving grace about Long Island? New York likes you There isn’t even a person!
YUTA’s performance is interrupted by a cacophony of horns and HOOK’s entrance.
HOOK (c) vs. Yuta Wheeler (FTW Championship)
HOOK supports him with a body blow, and when YUTA turns around, the champion evades the haymaker and launches a fierce attack! Body blow and knee kick, chop connects this time, right hand, HOOK blocks it and throws it back himself! Headbutt in the corner, big hip toss, Wheeler falls to the floor!
He gets shot in the eye and throws a trash can into the ring, but a hook cuts him off and chases him to the floor. Right hand, drop the back body into the ramp! YUTA fights back towards ringside and breaks the trash can lid over HOOK’s head! He pushes him to the floor, stomps on his neck, and throws him into the announce table, but the hook explodes with a lariat!
Back inside, Wheeler hits the Olympic slam and covers…no! He slams the stop sign into the champion’s back, YUTA pulls out the trash cans one by one, senton the sign, and covers for two. do. Hook fights back desperately, straight suplex to lariat, bridge northern lights suplex…still not enough!
German suplex and double lariat knock them both down! Bridging fisherman suplex from Yuta for two, trash can slam, knee lift, trap with a hook…Tazplex into the corner trash can! Both men cover and look for Red Rum, YUTA counters with a sentone into the trash can!
YUTA scores a two-by-four and HOOK gets a hockey stick and trips and breaks the stick! He whips Wheeler with a broken stick and uses part of it to put Red Rum in…
HOOK retained the FTW Championship with a submission victory over Red Rum using a hockey stick.
The show begins with the usual video package summarizing our biggest feuds.

Going through the matchup like a good filler tag on the undercard of a round robin final, there’s tension in the air as Danielson and White circle, collar and elbow and reach the corner, and Bryan hits a chop. Dodge and lead him down. Lebel locks up but gets his foot stuck in the ropes!
Chop in the corner, Jey controls, whip reverse, running corner dropkick! Garcia also joins King, and Brody goes crazy with him, falling to the floor and jawing Menard, who brutalizes his son! Choking Daniel and quick tag, they keep doing the Red Death. Garcia is trying to keep his spirits up and soon Mark Brisco is pinballing him with some redneck kung fu!
Fisherman buster on a white background… no! Briscoe knocks Lethal down on the turnbuckle and fights for position to get a superplex from Jey! Castagnoli tags in and faces King, and they exchange toe-to-toe lariat strikes! Claudio takes the advantage, reverse suplex on Brody, Castagnoli floats to boot, vertical suplex but Rush breaks it up!
The match breaks down and Claudio hits the king with a giant swing! Switchblade breaks it up, Danielson drags him to the floor and throws him into the barricade, Garcia sees an opening and Claudio tags him! He and Lethal tee off on each other and the Lethal combination sets up a figure-four leglock, but the match goes into “everybody do something cool” territory!
Big Saito suplex from Garcia, side step lethal injection…
Daniel Garcia, Mark Brisco and Team Uppercut win by pinfall with Garcia hitting Jay Lethal with a jackknife pin.
After the game, Sonjay Dutt gives encouragement to running back Jay Lethal, and Garcia has a bit of a conflict with his teammate.
Andrade El Idro vs. Miro
Miro flies out of the gate, overhead elbow, kick to the spine, Andrade fights back, takes a breather, but gets hit with a diving cut by a huge right hand from Redeemer! Back inside, Andrade kicks off with a figure-four leglock, and CJ Perry hits Miro with the chin while grabbing a reverse chinlock with El Idro.
He catches him with the ensuing Bossman Slam and drops him on the floor and onto the announce desk, Miro beats the count and throws Andrade onto the table as he returns to the floor! Back inside, both down, right hands exchange knees to legs, reverse whip, Miro back body drops him on the apron but Andrade lights up with a Dragon Screw!
Diving crossbody, roll through, flying forearm, El Idro fights back! Miro goes down and out in the corner but rolls to the floor and Andrade nails him with an Orihara moonsault! Set up with CJ, double jump moonsault, cover by both! Milo comes back, calls game over, cranks back, Perry barks orders at her man, he breaks free and gets the ropes!
Back elbow connect…MIRO kick out! A figure-four leglock is applied and as he retreats, Redeemer rolls over and reverses the pressure. Andrade rolls over and bridges the figure eight, but CJ intercepts and cuts Andrade off! El Idro is confused, turns around and does a Matica Kick…super close!
Perry puts on his best poker face and Game Over is applied in the middle of the ring…
Miro wins by submission with game over.
After the match, CJ grimaces and kisses Redeemer.
