Billionaire entrepreneur John Singleton, 82, splits from his seventh wife after just seven months of marriage.

John Singleton announced that he and his new wife had separated just three months after their marriage.

The Australian entrepreneur, 82, confirmed to the Sunday Telegraph this weekend that his marriage to Sarah Worley, 44, has come to an end.

He and Sarah fell in love through text messages and eloped last July, but didn’t go public with their relationship until December.

“Everyone was right, but we were wrong,” he told the magazine.

“This isn’t the first time I’ve made a mistake, and it won’t be the last. I know I’m half mad, but most of the time the other half makes up for it. Sometimes it’s not. .

“At the end of the day, you can’t stay in a marriage when you’re not happy…lAs they live together, they realize that their lifestyles are not compatible with each other. Couples will relate,” he said.

They met in one of John’s pubs in Brisbane, where Sarah was with her stepfather.

Sarah was previously the Director of Coast FM, a rural community radio station in Victoria.

John boasts a long list of ex-wives and ex-girlfriends and has been divorced six times, including from 60 Minutes reporter Liz Hayes in the early 1990s.

Before Sarah, John dated New York-based public relations expert Venessa Merrin, Daily Mail Australia reported.

Their relationship reportedly began in 2016 and ended in 2021.

Mr Singleton told the Sunday Telegraph that his “perfect” marriage was his first wife Margaret Wall.

The two married in 1964 and gave birth to a son, Jack, in 1971, shortly before their relationship ended.

The octogenarian had just recently put down a $15.85 million home in Killcare Heights to share with Sarah.

The advertising guru acquired a 2.75-hectare love nest on the Central Coast through his long-standing business company Ognis, realestate.com.au reported in January.

This property boasts expansive ocean views, a luxurious magnesium pool, and tennis courts.

The entrepreneur made his fortune in the advertising business in the 1970s and ’80s.
