Climate change technology specialist Chooose has partnered with BP to help airlines reduce their carbon footprint.
The partnership includes an undisclosed investment from BP, which Norwegian news outlets have reported at more than $20 million.
PhocusWire Hot 25 2023 Start-up Chooose and BP will work together to support airlines with initiatives such as developing digital solutions to scale sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) programs.
This collaboration and investment will also help Choosese expand its technology platform and increase its product offering.
Joseph Beaudin, Chief Customer Officer at Chooose, said: “Chooose builds software that helps large companies manage increasingly complex decarbonization programs. This partnership will integrate BP’s industry-leading low carbon product supply into the Chooose platform. It enables us to expand Chooose’s product range, offering compliance-related and voluntary products, with the aim of providing a more seamless experience for our customers. ”

Norway-based Chooseose announced $15 million in funding in January 2023. The company has signed a number of deals and partnerships in the last year, including a new platform for JetBlue and the integration of carbon accounting across reservations and reporting tools for AmEx GBT.
