Compass Capital, Egypt’s leading private equity firm, announced the creation of C3 Fund in partnership with CI Capital, Egypt’s leading investment bank. This closed-end equity fund specializes in investing in a selected portfolio of Egyptian listed companies.
The C3 Fund aims to have an ultimate size of EGP 3 billion, with a first close of EGP 2 billion by May 2024. More than 10 institutions and banks have already committed to participate in the fund.
The C3 Fund will acquire 10-33% stakes in 10-15 listed companies, allowing for substantial governance involvement.
