CVC Capital Partners has raised $6.8 billion for its sixth Asia fund, which will be used to invest in consumer and services sectors across the region.

CVC Capital Partners has raised $6.8 billion for its sixth Asia fund, which will be used to invest in consumer and services sectors across the region.
The Asia fund is about 50% larger than its previous funding round in 2020, which raised $4.5 billion, the private equity firm said in a statement on Wednesday.
The firm said it is seeing strong demand from new and returning blue-chip investors, adding that its unit CVC Asia currently has raised more than $21 billion in commitments across its Asia-focused funds.
“CVC Asia is one of the growth engines of our private equity platform and we look forward to continued expansion and success with this strategy,” said Rob Lucas, CVC Managing Partner.
CVC manages $199 billion in assets. The company’s investments in Asia span sectors such as healthcare, business services, sports, media and entertainment, utilities, and consumer.
