It feels so good to see you again! Since her 1997 debut, Destiny’s Child has become one of the most successful, beloved, and acclaimed girl groups in music history. Although the group officially disbanded in 2006, and later reunited for Beyoncé’s 2013 Super Bowl halftime show and 2018 Coachella headlining performance, fans have never seen any of the main original members in public. I was looking forward to seeing him again. Fans finally got their wish, thanks to a photo posted by OG group member LeToya Luckett on Wednesday (January 3).
“[All love.] This was definitely my favorite moment of 2023,” Luckett captioned the post. “[The love, the joy, the prayer, the healing.] May we all experience such beautiful moments in 2024. ” In the photo, Luckett, Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams and Latavia Roberson pose backstage at Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour in Houston.
Beyoncé, Luckett and Roberson held up H-Town hand signs to highlight their hometown of Houston, while Rowland and Williams opted for simple peace signs.
