A collection of inspiring acceptance speeches and insights from the inaugural class of the Top Women in Marketing Awards.
Last year, Ragan and PR Daily launched the Top Women in Marketing Awards to celebrate and recognize the many accomplishments of trailblazing female marketers who continue to elevate the industry with their many successes. When we celebrated these women last October, the support and encouragement in the room demonstrated why events like this are so powerful.
Sue Dietrich, director of marketing for Stanley Brands and one of the marketing winners, gave this advice to her younger self during the event:
“There are three things I would tell my younger girlfriend: Say yes to opportunities that come your way. Say yes to life. Say yes to people and invite them into your world.” please. At the same time, don’t burn bridges. Especially in this industry, you never know when those people are going to come back. ”
