Jan. 5—The Empty Stocking Fund is a long-standing project of New Mexican. Each year, hundreds of people receive assistance from this fund during the holiday season to help pay rent, pay medical bills, pay utility bills, car repairs, home improvements, and other needs.
Who’s eligible: Applicants who reside within 50 miles of Santa Fe and must provide proof of identity will be considered without regard to race, age, ethnicity, gender identity, or sexual orientation. Applications are now closed.
