BRADFORD, Pa. — The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford is celebrating Maker Month in March with several on-campus events designed to inspire and inspire creativity, including a keynote address by Matt Verlinich, senior program manager at Innovation Works. Carry out the activity.

Werlinig is a scientist by nature, an engineer by training, and an entrepreneur by choice. During his career, he taught at Penn State University, served as a research assistant, was a mechanical engineer in the nuclear industry, opened and operated a makerspace, and invented his own products.
He holds a master’s degree in engineering science and a bachelor’s degree in engineering science and mechanics from Penn State University.
The Pitt Bradford makerspace is just one of the many unique spaces in the Duke Building. Since the building opened in January 2023, many students have used the makerspace’s many tools there, including 3D printers, laser engravers, circuit board printers, sewing machines, T-shirt presses, vacuum cleaners, and more.
