Introducing the Finance for Nature Professional Certification from the IUCN Academy.
In a world where biodiversity is threatened like never before, urgent action is needed to reorient economic and financial systems towards a naturally positive future. Did you know that biodiversity loss has reached a tipping point, with one million species at risk of extinction? Our course explores these pressing issues while analyzing the complex relationship between nature and finance. Participants will explore governance frameworks, overcome data challenges, and evaluate levers for change. Upon completion, participants will be able to effectively navigate financial information, connect scientific knowledge to financial markets, identify new financial products, understand legal and regulatory frameworks, and develop informed organizational financial strategies.
