The Adams County Community Foundation will hold its 2024 Investment Fair on Tuesday, March 5th at 8 a.m. at the Adams County Historical Society Event Center, according to a foundation release.
“Members of our investment committee will share details of our endowment investment goals and strategies,” the release states.
The briefing, led by James Kampstra, volunteer chair of Kampstra Wealth Management, will also feature the foundation’s investment manager, James Stierhoff of Brown Advisory, according to a release.
The community foundation has a growing list of endowments that benefit all of Adams County. The community foundation utilizes a number of philanthropic funds established by individuals, families, and businesses to carry out philanthropic efforts, including more than 250 endowments that benefit specific nonprofit organizations throughout Adams County; It manages funds that support education, the arts, children and youth. By pooling these separate funds for investment purposes, economies of scale can be achieved. This pooled endowment is invested with his two goals in mind. That is, starting today, I will be returning to serve Adams County. And growth to continue that service to the next generation.
Doors open and continental breakfast is served at 8am. The one-hour program begins at 8:15 a.m. The Foundation’s investment presentations are free and open to the public, but registration is required. Call 717-337-0060 to register or RSVP to rsvp@adamscountycf.org.
