Press materials for the next Galaxy S24 were leaked two weeks before the big reveal, seemingly confirming Samsung’s focus on AI.
It is known that Samsung will hold its next big Unpacked event on January 17th, where the Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to play a leading role.
We’ve already seen a number of well-sourced rumors about this supersized phone, but this latest leak appears to come directly from Samsung itself. Posted by X user @DontMatterToYou and relayed by SamMobile, his poster of the official marketing for the Galaxy S24 Ultra has been featured in several of his Samsung Brazilian retail stores.
These show an attractive blocky phone in titanium gray, placed facing forward with its top edge facing the camera. The distinctive S Pen stylus is located on the back of the phone.
The Portuguese line used to market the Galaxy S24 Ultra means “Harnessing the power of Galaxy AI.” So it’s clear that Samsung will lean heavily into the previously leaked AI features of the Galaxy S24.
In October, we reported on claims that Samsung was going “all in” on AI with the Galaxy S24 family. In fact, Samsung is claimed to have far surpassed his Pixel 8, which many consider to be the current champion of AI smartphones.
Apparently, there will be some form of functionality inspired by ChatGPT and Google Bard, including the creation of keyword-inspired generative content and the text-to-image feature developed by Samsung itself. Conversion tools may be included.
The much-neglected Bixby is also expected to receive AI enhancements, allowing for more natural conversations. Qualcomm and Samsung’s custom chips in the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Ultra are expected to outperform Google’s custom Tensor G3 chip in the field of AI.
