Prince Harry is facing a “world of challenges” over his US visa application, and questions about his past drug use have also surfaced.
The Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank, has filed a lawsuit against the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), arguing that the Duke of Sussex’s recent application did not adequately examine his past drug use. This is very important. That’s because American visa applications require applicants to declare this type of information, and Harry himself publicly revealed his drug use in his memoir, Spare, published in 2023. Because I’m confessing.
“He could actually be in a world of trouble.”
Former US President Donald Trump, who is currently running for re-election, addressed the issue, warning that he would take “appropriate action” if Prince Harry lied on his application. President Trump has suggested that if Prince Harry is found to have misled authorities, he could be deported.

Trump told GB News: “We need to find out if they know anything about drugs. If he’s lying, we’ll have to take appropriate action.”
GB News presenter Patrick Christis echoed concerns about preferential treatment for the prince. “In fact, he could potentially be in a world of trouble, right? Because if he had lied about drug use on his visa application, then frankly, he could be in a world of trouble, right? Because they should be treated the same,” Christis said.
Mr Christie’s even expressed skepticism about the application process, saying: I wouldn’t be surprised if it turns out he filled it out in crayon and Meghan stuck it on her fridge for a few weeks before submitting it. ”
The move comes after Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan stepped down as senior royals in 2020 and moved to Meghan’s home state of California. The couple currently lives in a luxurious Montecito mansion with their children Archie and Lilibet.
