Global Entertainment Awards
EXCLUSIVE: The people that put film, TV, and games on the map with their work across marketing and promotion have had their work recognized in the roster of Global Entertainment Awards regional winners.
Now in its third edition, the organizers of the Awards assembled a 450-strong group of judges from around the world to deliberate on the 2024 noms, with the winners announced today and revealed first in Deadline (see full list of winners, below).
The team behind the Global Entertainment Awards said they created them to honor the role marketing and promotion play the entertainment business, and to celebrate the people whose work inspires people to go to movies theaters, watch series and play games.
Categories include best trailer, key art, sizzle and sales reels, teasers, PR activation and social media spot, among others.
Projects from streamers – notably Netflix – are front and center. Work on Lupin, Wednesday, The Crown, Bodies and Maestro featured across various categories. Netflix’s own creative team scooped multiple accolades. In-house teams from Warner Bros. Discovery and broadcasters including India’s Zee and Japan’s Nippon TV also featured. Agencies winning across several categories included Once Upon a Time Content, The Solid State and The Picture Production Company.
“We have been thrilled by the breadth, variety and quality of this year’s submissions and have been delighted to have been joined by so many notable voices from the entertainment sector, globally,” said Tim Cole, Global Entertainment Awards CEO. “The power of the creative voice is phenomenal, and we are honored to be a part of their journey.”
Scooping a regional win is a standalone accolade, but all winners and nominees get a further chance for recognition at the global awards, which takes place at a ceremony held at the Wyndham Grand Hotel, in the Algarve, Portugal, on March 3. Deadline is the media partner.
