Infinium wins Project Investment of the Year Award at SAF Investor London 2024

Infinium’s Project Roadrunner won the 2023 Project Investment of the Year – USA award at the SAF Investor London 2024 event. Infinium previously announced that the project in West Texas, US, will receive a US$75 million project equity investment from Breakthrough Energy Catalyst (Catalyst), subject to certain closing conditions.

Project Roadrunner will convert an existing brownfield gas-to-liquids project into a fully integrated eFuels facility, serving both the U.S. and international markets. The company primarily produces Infinium eSAF, a SAF that has the potential to significantly reduce lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) associated with air travel. The PtL SAF is expected to reduce the aviation industry’s lifecycle GHG emissions by approximately 90%, which is higher than the emissions reductions currently achieved using his SAFs on the market. Project Roadrunner will also produce Infinium e-naphtha for use in plastics manufacturing and Infinium e-Diesel for use in transportation methods that are difficult to electrify, such as long-haul trucking and maritime applications.
