RUSTON, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Members of Louisiana Tech University’s Class of 1981 will share their experiences and advice on stage when they speak at Louisiana Tech University’s first “Inside the C-suite” of 2024. To do. Ruston.
Janet Wong graduated from the Louisiana Tech University College of Business with a Master of Professional Accounting degree and is back to discuss her career in sustainable technology and advanced manufacturing.
Mr. Wong is rated by Board Prospects as one of the top 30 Asian American board members in the United States.
Dr. Cristo Martin, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration at La Polytechnic University, welcomes Janet back to campus to talk to La Polytechnic students and how she is contributing to the development of the organization through her role as a board member. He said he was excited to speak.
“Janet is a tremendous supporter of Louisiana Tech University and College of Business alumni, and we appreciate her willingness to share her expertise and provide insight into important issues facing boards today.” said Martin.
Mr. Wong currently serves on the boards of Lucid Group, Inc., Enviva Inc., and Lumentum Holdings, Inc. He has also been named to the National Association of Directors’ 2022 Directors to Watch list.TM.
Wong is a senior partner at KPMG and has spent most of his career in the Silicon Valley office, where he gained experience in consumer products, energy, financial services, manufacturing, and technology.
Louisiana Tech University’s College of Business has produced business leaders who are innovative, entrepreneurial, analytically and technically capable, and who can thrive in global markets.
Mr. Wong is scheduled to give a lecture at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17, in the College of Business Auditorium in Davis.
