Looking through the World Swimming national roster for next month’s World Championships, it appears Australia’s line-up will remain largely unchanged from originally announced.
Just one exception stands out as a rising star at St. Peter’s Western. jenna forrester.
Forrester, 20, was one of the first Australian pool swimmers to be revealed last month, but it appears he will no longer represent the Doha green and gold.
Forester made a big breakthrough in the 2023 World Championship. dean boxall-The trained athlete placed 4th in the IM 200m with a time of 2:08.98 and 8th in the back 200m with a time of 2:11.44. The former was named the best player of his life for Brisbane’s up-and-coming star and helped him qualify for the 2024 Olympics.
Ahead of the Australian Olympic trials in June, Forrester ranks third among Australian women in the 200m IM and fourth in the 200m back run.

Forrester’s absence from Doha reflects the fact that she is fully committed to the Australian Olympic Trials in June.
She will have to fend off the women before her in both events, but a win over Dynamo McCune seems unlikely. So Forrester will have to battle Ramsey in the IM 200m and Barkley in the back 200m in hopes of earning her first Olympic berth.
