LANSDALE — Area residents are mourning the death of a Philadelphia-area entrepreneur who left his mark on Lansdale. Carisi McGill, the longtime manager of the Lansdale Farmers Market, died this week at the age of 42.
“I loved her. She was a very good person. In my opinion, she was the soul of the Lansdale Farmers Market. She kept everything moving,” said market volunteer Lisi. Mackenzie said.

“I was stunned to learn of Charice’s passing. She was such a bright light and will be missed by many,” said Carol Zellers, a longtime market commissioner.
Will Reid, chairman of the market’s board, has known Ms McGill since she began working in the market in 2017, when she was manager, and says everything she knows about the company’s lasting potential. He said he left a mark.
