The November 13, 2016 issue of Entrepreneur Magazine featured an article entitled “Learn, Earn, Return: Three Stages of a Fulfilling Life” (https://www.entrepreneur.com/article/284706 ). The author summarized the stages by explaining: You learn early in life, you make money in the middle stages of your life and career, and the third and most fulfilling stage in my opinion is coming back: helping others. In the author’s words, “It’s about getting involved. There are many great causes, business-related, family-related, religious-related. Pick one that is close to your heart and commit to it, whether it’s money, time, or Please contribute in both ways.”
January is National Mentoring Month. Now is the time to recognize the efforts of the millions of people across the country who volunteer to become mentors. It might also be a good time to think about going back and helping others.
