Nashville-based pharmaceutical services company Petauri has acquired Indianapolis-based life sciences marketing agency Force Communications.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed in the release.
The acquisition includes three separate companies from Force (referred to as “FORCE”) Communications: Drive, Momentum and Propel.
The deal follows Petauri’s appointment of Nicole Klein and Lauren Gonzalez as vice presidents in December 2023 (read) here).
Founded in 2001 by Jay Greenzweig, Force focuses on medical and scientific communications and has approximately 50 employees. From now on, it will be operated as Petauri.
Petauri, previously known as Petauri Health before mid-January, was founded in 2023 by Dan Rennick with backing from New York-based private equity firm Oak Hill Capital Partners. His Petauri (using a platform business model), which has around 160 employees, later launched Petauri Advisors and acquired The Kinetix Group. The company’s service platform focuses on life science areas related to global market access, medical administration, patient services, and data/analytics.
Oak Hill and its predecessor companies have raised approximately $20 billion in initial capital commitments and co-investments, invested in approximately 100 companies, and completed more than 300 acquisitions, totaling more than $60 billion, according to the release. .
