This is the latest initiative in Lord Stelios’ efforts to promote young entrepreneurship.
The Stelios Philanthropic Foundation has announced a new award scheme aimed at young entrepreneurs. A new competition will offer a total of £300,000 to support the growth of selected UK start-up founders, with job creation as the key objective. The application acceptance period is as follows February 29, 2024. The winner will be announced personally by Sir Stelios Hadji-Ioannou in early April. Candidates can apply directly through the foundation’s website.
The foundation already offers awards to disabled entrepreneurs in the UK (in partnership with disability charity Leonard Cheshire). These awards will continue, with applications for his 16th year in 2024 opening in May.

Sir Stelios Hadji Ioannou receives the Order of Saint-Charles
Last November, Sir Stelios Hadji Ioannou was appointed Honorary Consul General of Cyprus in Monaco. Knights of the Order of Saint-Charlesor Knight of the Order of St. Charles by Prince Albert II.
